“You Belong with Me” is Tari Faris’ debut novel and it reads like the work of a seasoned novelist. The characters are well-developed, the plot has great movement and timing. I found the characters believable and likable.

The story follows two old friends, Hannah and Luke, who struggle with their friendship and the possibility of romance. Will they lose their friendship? Will one or the other have to sacrifice what they imagine their dream to be?

The novel wrestles with themes of identity and worth–all in the very charming town of Heritage.

I recommend “You Belong with Me” to fans of inspirational romance that leaves you feeling both fulfilled and ready to read another novel by Tari Faris. If you like novels by Melissa Tagg and Beth Vogt, you’ll like Tari Faris’ story and style. But don’t be mistaken, Tari has her own writing voice and I’m looking forward to the next in the series.
